I don’t know whether you have noticed, but Cufo has recently had some problems
with goldlets. The climax came at Pep gander’s birthday, when he had spent the
goldlets senselessly and would almost go empty-handed to the birthday party.

Fortunately, aunt Partridge found a suitable present for Pep, which cost as many
goldlets as he already had - a copybook filled with musical notations and lines,

which Partridge called ‘partiture’, a musical score.
