Cufo is a year older now and his parents
have decided to let him choose and buy
the gift himself. Each of them is giving
Cufo 50 goldlets. They are money but
of a special type. They are used only at
Cufo’s forest.
How happy our piglet is!
He feels quite a pig now, grown up and serious. He takes
the money, stuffs it into his dungarees pocket and puts
his paw on it, as if he wants to protect it. Now he knows
exactly what he’s going to buy with it. “80 goldlets more
and that red bicycle I’ve seen at the Seesaw shop window
will be mine” – thought Cufo. That’s why he should keep
these goldlets safe to put them together with others.
