Monetary policy decisions

Today, on 30 July 2014, the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania reviewed and approved the Monetary Policy Statement of the Bank of Albania on the first half of 2014. Based on the most recent economic and monetary developments, and following the discussions on the expected outlook, the Supervisory Council decided to keep the key interest rate unchanged, at 2.50%.

The Governor of the Bank of Albania will comment on the considerations underlying this decision at a press conference starting at 14:00 today.
