Monetary policy decisions

Today, on 30 April 2014, the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania reviewed and approved the Quarterly Monetary Policy Report. After discussions on the recent economic and monetary developments in Albania, and their future course, the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania decided to keep the key interest rate unchanged, at 2.75%.

The Governor of the Bank of Albania will hold a press conference today at 16:00 to explain the reasons behind this decision.
