Monetary Policy Decisions

Today, on November 6, 2024, the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania reviewed and approved the Monetary Policy Report. In conclusion to the discussions on the economic and monetary developments and the expected outlook, the Supervisory Council decided:

to reduce the policy rate from 3% to 2.75%;
to reduce the interest rate for the overnight deposit facility from 2% to 1.75%;
to reduce the interest rate for the overnight lending facility from 4% to 3.75%.
