Call for Papers, V Conference of the Bank of Albania Museum, “Central Banking and Economic History: Reflections and Prospects” June 11, 2025

The Bank of Albania is pleased to announce the organization of the Vth Conference of the Bank of Albania Museum, which will be held on June 11, 2025, at the premises of the Bank of Albania, Tirana.

The conference aims to bring together both emerging and experienced researchers in economic and monetary history, as well as central bank experts. Participants are invited to present and discuss the findings of theoretical and empirical papers that use historical data to help us better understand past and present monetary, financial, and economic developments. Additionally, we welcome research in economic, monetary, financial, and banking history, as well as studies on the history of economic thought. Papers can adopt cliometric or narrative approaches and may also be based on archival documents.

We invite interested authors to participate with their research papers by submitting an abstract and a short CV by December 15, 2024, to the following address: [email protected]. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by January 16, 2025.
